i had just finshed watch this show about how they have kid working in mines and mines are one of the most not save jobs in the us but they can not tell if the god they are buying is used from the mines that the child or kid because when they melt the good down they cant tell were it came from

Can we do anything to change what is happening?
Makes you wonder when we buy things if we're hurting people in other countries- like all the great cheap stuff from China (just try to find clothes, etc. that are not made in China. Are we responsible for child labor in China, but then if we didn't buy this stuff would it be worse for the kids working in factories??

One of the worst things in this situation is that not only are the child laborers not getting an education, they are working in conditions that can cause learning disabilities and hurt them later on in life as well! In America, we view the gold these children mine as a symbol of riches and success, but here the people who find the gold are working in terrible poverty. Makes you think twice before buying anything made of gold.
